hello all ! :)

first things first, aBIGthankyou to all who've taken some time off studying  to come help out at coffeeministry !

the week was supersupersuper awesome ! the encouraging turn-out (yahh record man, 225cupsofcoffee in a night ...err..the highest count la)... the conversations / connections , the accidental-encounters-with-strangers-who-happens-to-do-the-same-sub-and-has-answers-you-need (really!.yah see if you are an arts student you should come and you can potentially have educationally-stimulating conversations. hur hur ,...i don't think that's a word...) and most importanly , the super magnificent privilige of being able to see God being glorified.

it has been an incredibly humbling week and all praises go to our great God. its so encouraging to hear people talk about coffee ministry outside the ministry's operational time and at random places too (ie. law library or any library other than ballieu la.) ...

really la. its going to sound cliche and ohsorepetitiveagain but its so true lor - couldn't have done it without the people who've put their heart and soul ( true la.) into helping out this first week - .....

it's really been a week of grace and yah it's just hard to put into words all the things that have really happened and the encounters and stuff like that.(thats why you must come and see for yourself mah..) .. as we continue to run coffee ministry for the next 3 weeks or so , lets have expectant and believing hearts ; and continue praying with faith !

hello everyone !

hope the muocfers had an awesome returnees night ! and everyone else had enough rest+play+ *jengjeng* time with God !  :)

is everyone excited about coffee ministry yet !! i'm sure you are (*hint)...

as we are all entering that whole mugging phase, let's not forget to keep each other in prayer and to keep walking faithfully in Him...

come every coffee ministry, Matthew 6:33 ( Seek first His kingdom and righteousness and all will be given unto you ) kinda becomes something that i both consciously and subconciously think of. and i think for a while i took that for granted because it became a verse that slips out so automatically off my mind and mouth...

but yeah. this semester is no different and i was reminded of this verse again when i was just reading my Bible one day ; except i thought that this time , i should really rethink the verse and ponder on it a bit more so it doesn't just become a convinient utterance of faith.

(i apologise if i am kindoff generalising on this).. ok maybe i'll use "I" because this is kinda from my opinion and thought...ahaha...I think i've become vulnerable to the thought that "seek first His kingdom and righteousness so that all other things will be given to you.."...

yeah..hooboy, i was wrong . so duh right. but don't be fooled ok, its easy to fall short to that mindset. but as I sought God's help with this coffee ministry because , i really think we are going to see exciting things happen (!) ; i think i'm reminded of how we all need to be vigilant in doing His will..

instead of think what I want to see happen, it should be about seeing what God wants to see happen.

and as it has been reiterated so many times before, i will continue to reiterate it here (!) lol. rather than hearing from others what coffee ministry means and what is should mean ; do seek God's heart to understand why the ministry is as it is now.

thank you so very much, to each and everyone of you for your prayers , time , and willingness to serve in coffee ministry. you know; what you guys say and think of coffee ministry is so so incredibly crucial to the whole big picture. you are going to be the ones talking to people, encouraging, serving and making a difference...

so yah, everyone of you matters !! it's a challenge, to not just come with the mindset that you'll come just to fill in for a day when we're lacking in helpers. because when you do that, it limits ( to such a great extent ) the perfect plan that God has to pour out His blessing on you ( really !!!)

and when you find the key to God's heart, i think it really puts the direction and prupose of the ministry so clear and exiciting.

so yah, keep on praying and prayng and come with expectant hearts !!

hello ! coffee ministry is back back back again

hehe. so exciting again ! and even more because so many of our coffee ministry "dinosaurs" (hehe , they coined that term not me ! its a term of endearment..) are returnees this year and some of them ( or more precisely, one/two of them ) shared about the history of coffee min in those days .

haha. but on a more serious note, i think God has used their testimonials to remind us how blessed we are just for all the little big things - our trolley (hehe) for the urn ,favor from librarians and security guard, receptiveness and all that !

how awesome is God. and i guess the takehome lesson  for me was how God has answered our ( our dinosaurs i mean) prayer and how also we shouldn't take our blessings for granted

From everyone who has been given much, much will be required ( Luke 12:48)

so yah, if you're given 1 then 5 then 10 talents (the parable !) then what would you do with it ? it isnt a rhetorical question or reverse psychology (haha) ; but this is waht God has blessed us with and from now, its up to us to seek Him and His will to decide what we are to do with it .
